How I like to style white trousers.

Updated: Dec 5, 2019

White trousers have always been a no no for me, but purely from a fear of spillages/stains/period leaks, rather than a fashion faux pas. I've always thought they look so chic and have wished for years I could bring myself to strut my stuff on the streets of London without a thought to the potential catastrophes. This year I realised how ridiculous all of this was and started wearing the gorgeous pair of cream Whistles trousers my mother bought me with pride! If you too have found your new sense of joie de vivre when it comes to a snowy pair of pantaloons than read on for styling tips, and congratulations! You've just unlocked another incredible number of outfit combinations in your wardrobe!

MONOCHROME!

White and black go together like birds of a feather and will until the end of time. If monochrome is your theme, then I would stick with it and try not to add a burst of colour as this makes it...not monochrome. Have fun with textures! Throw some black snakeskin heels on or a black and white leopard print always works nicely. NEVER BE SCARED OF ANIMAL PRINTS! EVERYONE LOVES AN ANIMAL PRINT. Thats not strictly true, but you know.

Neutral tones.

Beige cream and white is like a pudding, always good. You can really have fun here wearing all different kinds of beige from camel (my favourite) to a light tan. Mix it up Mary, and don't worry about things being too matchy matchy. Gold jewellery with this combo of beige and cream is a dream, so have fun!

Colour...

Cream and white goes with ANY OTHER COLOUR so don't hold back with your style and what you like to wear. The most important thing is that you feel great and wear your new (or old) britches with confidence and courage.
