Return of the (Big) Bag

This last year I have seen nothing but little mini bags, and while at first I was dubious to their functionality, I quickly become a massive fan. As a busy mom of three there was no greater treat than taking a mini bag out that only had things in it for me: my phone, my keys, and my credit card. So I plunged feet first into the pool of minis and have currently found myself with quite a lovely little collection.

However, like every season in fashion's history, things swivel (pivot if you will) and this season's "it" bag that I'm seeing EVERYWHERE (ok just on my instagram) is MASSIVE...and guess what? I love it. As someone who recently has had a detox from designer accessories, the YSL bag caught my eye as soon as I saw it. Alas, I won't be paying the £3,150 price tag

so have been on the hunt for similar bags. Is the big bag back? Am I ready to get swamped by the bulk of the satchel and hidden behind it's girth?! Maybe. But am I ready to be the one who hold's my husband's keys and wallet, and the children's who knows what? No.
