The sun is shining and I am HERE FOR IT!!! I am so ready to enjoy this next season after being cooped up for the last couple of years due to covid lockdown and baby lockdown. I have added some new favourite pieces to my wardrobe and even tho I have added them to my shop I want to let you know a little bit of 'why' as well. I haven't written a blog post in absolute AGES, and I'm not sure what's stopped me. I really enjoy writing posts, but do people read blog posts much anymore? If you do...please write a comment on this post to let me know you've been here! I'd love to know who's clicking around! Ok, onto my new wardrobe pieces!
Lets start off with these gorgeous gold hoops. Hoops aren't going anywhere fast (did they ever leave?) and I wanted some with a bit of a difference. They're made using recycled brass and are light as a feather making them incredibly comfortable to wear! I haven't taken them off since they arrived and I'm so in love with them. If you have more than one piercing on your lobe they look super cute stacked with a simple stud.
A classic white T, every wardrobe needs one! And not one covered in coffee and chocolate stains (speaking for myself here) but a beautifully soft as silk bright white shirt like this one. It looks amazing under a blazer, tucked into jeans, or paired with leather pants. This basic can be dressed up with heels or dressed down with sneakers. The reason I'm loving this particular T is the amount of fabric I get. I can roll the sleeves and comfortably tuck to give it an extra styled look. Win!
I couldn't quite believe my eyes when I saw this jacket and the price point...£39! I have received SO many compliments on it...I think every time I've worn it. The cut is incredibly chic and I love the light camel tone. The wrap belt works really well, or I switch it out for one of my other belts to elevate the look and bring my outfit together. This really does look way more expensive than it is. I love my longline camel coat, but going into the warmer months this length is PERFECT! I've worn a classic white shirt underneath to create a collar, or a black body suit to really eventuate the collarless vibe and both work really well. This jacket is so versatile, its been a wonderful addition to my wardrobe!
Monica Vinader were sweet enough to get in touch and offer me a piece to talk about on my YouTube channel. First of all, I can't believe I'm at the point where brands want to work with me and send me things! And second of all, I can't believe how gorgeous everything is. I've been a fan of Monica Vinader for ages and I couldn't wait to receive my new bracelet. Its made using recycled materials and is the perfect addition to my wrist stack. These are the jeans I didn't know I needed. I can't stand it when I try on a pair and they stretch out a couple hours later leaving my with baggy knees and a saggy bum...no thanks! These are NON stretch! Lovely and sturdy giving me (and keeping) a great shape to work with. The butterfly buttons are pretty stiff, but after a few upsy downsys they're starting to losen up. They skim just about the ankle so I can show off some cute shoes, and they work really well rolled up a bit to offer a different look. The colour is perfect for me, not too dark and not too light making them even more versatile in my wardrobe. I can really dress these up with some heels and a blazer or keep them casual with some sneakers and a t-shirt. Nice and high waisted as well...I'm not going back to the low rise!
Ooo that was fun! I'll be making more of these! Please do let me know if you came to visit, I'd love to hear from you! And, as always, the links included are affiliate, so if you happen to buy anything I get a small % from the retailer but you don't pay any extra. How great is that?! Thank you so much for reading!
